This restaurant is reminiscent of a casual San Francisco Bay Area café. Its presentation is fairly modest. Fish tanks are visible to the patrons and cookbooks line the wall.

Mul Yam is perhaps the best restaurant in Israel with the freshest and finest seafood selection. The irony, however, is that all the fish is imported, highlighting the ambition and tenacity of this young chef.



Mul Yam is the only restaurant outside of Europe to be included in The Purple Guide, and was chosen as Gault-Millau restaurant of the year.
